OUR HISTORY
The JWI Story
In 2012, Jolene Wee founded JWI. Jolene wanted to build a home for like-minded restructuring professionals and bring big-firm expertise to companies in the middle market. JWI built a reputation for successfully tackling complex cases with tight budgets.
In 2017, JWI expanded its services to include trustee representations. Client matters included forensic, financial advisory and litigation valuation matters. The team grew to 8 finance, accounting and IT professionals.
TODAY
JWI is Growing
In 2019, JWI expanded to serve international clients primarily in Asia and formed a satellite office in our founder’s home country, Malaysia. In 2020, JWI further expanded its services to include fiduciary appointments after Jolene became the only person in the country to be chosen to serve by two U.S. Trustees in Regions 2 (SDNY and EDNY) and 4 (EDVA – Alexandria, MD, DC) as a Chapter 11 (Subchapter V) trustee. JWI is now home to more than 20 legal, finance and accounting professionals and continues to grow.
